On June 11, Family Nurturing Center of MA celebrated the graduates of the spring 2024 Nurturing Parenting Program for Cape Verdean families at 200 Bowdoin Street. This interlingual, intergenerational program celebrates family and cultural ties, bringing the whole family and community together for learning, play, singing, and celebration.

FNC has offered the Cape Verdean Nurturing Program for more than twenty years, and it has become a trusted resource and site of community. Several parents had chosen to return to brush up on their skills–and two of the program facilitators were introduced to the Nurturing Philosophy years ago as children participating with their families! Graduation was a chance for the FNC community to celebrate each participant and facilitator, from youngest to oldest, and to lift up the presence and commitment of each person.
