Training and Capacity Building
Family Nurturing Center is the nationally recognized training and technical assistance provider in Massachusetts for the Nurturing Parenting Program® curriculum. FNC provides training and mentoring in the Nurturing Philosophy to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and other agencies and individuals in Boston and statewide.
Multiple three-day trainings in the Developing Nurturing Families and Communities Basic Skills Training are offered throughout the year and in several regions of Massachusetts.
Nurturing Fathers’ Program Training
FNC has also been designated as a State Training and Resource Affiliate for the Nurturing Fathers’ Program. The three-day training is comparable to the Developing Nurturing Families and Communities Basic Skills Training. It covers the program philosophy, theory and research, and demonstrates activities from the Nurturing Fathers’ curriculum.

Training of Trainers
This training is open only to people with five years’ experience with facilitating Nurturing Programs who desire to be a nationally recognized Trainer/Consultant with Family Nurturing Centers. It is a three-day training limited to 6-8 people. Recognition is granted by the national Family Nurturing Center. Please see their training webpage for details.
