SUMMARY:3-Day Nurturing Fathers' Program™ Facilitation Training
DESCRIPTION:This training is the ideal starting place for new parent educators as well as those with experience who are new to Mark Perlman’s Nurturing Fathers’ curriculum. Specific topics include: behavior management\, personal power\, effective communication\, family support principles\, and the building of a positive self-concept. The training also addresses Nurturing Fathers’ Program implementation and the whys and hows of father engagement. \nThis training will take place at DCF’s Western Regional Office in Springfield. Other logistics will be shared with registered attendees before the event. This training is intended for professionals who work at Community Connections initiatives\, Massachusetts Family Resource Centers\, DCF Area Offices\, and others who partner with them.
