Rodman Ride for Kids

The Rodman Ride for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity that raising funds for youth-focused social service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The Ride’s mission is to have every child in our community live as we would want our own children to live.

Each Rider commits to raising at least $1,500 for FNC, and we help make that easy – with online donation opportunities, sample letters, and email updates. Each Rider also gets a free FNC cycling jersey. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be invited to join team training rides if interested.

The #1 single-day athletic event in support of kids in the nation, the Ride has raised over $143 million since 1991. FNC is proud to be one of The Ride’s affiliate charities, and the event has become an important part of our annual fundraising efforts.

If you’re not available on Ride Day but you’d still like to support FNC, here’s what you can do:

  1. Make a tax deductible donation.
  2. Do a “Virtual Ride”: set your own mileage goal and ride on another day, ride on a stationary bike, or walk your miles before Ride Day. (Virtual Riders may set a goal lower than $1,500, though FNC’s Virtual Riders tend to be our biggest fundraisers!).
  3. Host a Ride fundraising event with friends – at your home or at a favorite gathering spot. Be creative!
