Rodman for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity that raising funds for youth-focused social service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The goal of Rodman for Kids is to have every child in our community live as we would want our own children to live.
One of Rodman for Kids’ primary events is the Rodman Ride for Kids, a cycling event each September. We are excited for another “hybrid” event this year—with in-person and virtual participants! Each person commits to raising a set amount of funds for FNC, and we help make that easy—with online donation opportunities, sample letters, and email updates. Each Rider also gets a free FNC cycling jersey.
The Rodman Ride for Kids is the #1 single-day athletic event in support of kids in the nation. FNC is proud to be one of The Ride’s affiliate charities, and the event has become an important part of our annual fundraising efforts.
If you’re not available on Ride Day but you’d still like to support FNC, here’s what you can do:
- Make a tax-deductible donation during Ride season.
- Do a “Virtual Ride”: set your own mileage goal and ride on another day, ride on a stationary bike, or walk your miles before Ride Day. In 2021, we had 10 in-person Riders and 33 virtual participants, many of whom were part of a CrossFit Challenge on Ride Day.
- Host a Ride fundraising event with friends—at your home or at a favorite gathering spot. Be creative!
2023 Event Date: Saturday, September 23
Event Location: 38 Neponset Avenue, Foxboro, MA
