Celebrating Richard Claytor

Celebrating Richard Claytor

After more than eight successful years as Director of Programs at Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts, Richard Claytor will retire this June. A deeply important member of the FNC community since December 2016, Richard’s tenure at FNC has had a lasting impact on our team and on the families with whom we partner. We are grateful for his wisdom and expertise, and we look forward to continuing to build on his leadership.

As FNC’s inaugural Director of Programs, Richard expanded and strengthened existing services while also developing new programs, impacting countless caregivers, children, and providers. A collaborator to his core, Richard helped to forge a network of partnerships that make not just FNC but our whole city stronger. We have been enriched by these new relationships with the Executive Office of Economic Development; the Mayor’s Office of Black Male Advancement; the Mayor’s Office of Returning Citizens; a wide range of nonprofits serving fathers and individuals impacted by incarceration; and countless other organizations and community leaders. Richard’s passion for community and youth development and his deep commitment to Boston’s families shine through in everything he does. His presence will be missed, but we know that FNC—and Boston’s communities—will continue to grow stronger and better-connected with the amazing team of staff he has helped to build.
