We’re still glowing from the incredible energy and generosity of our fifth annual Friends, Families, Future Gala at the JFK Memorial Library on April 4. To everyone who attended, supported, and celebrated with us: thank you. Your presence helped transform the evening into something truly unforgettable. With your help, we raised vital funds that will power our mission in the year ahead.
The evening provided an opportunity to pause, celebrate the past, and look forward to our future. FNC was thrilled to honor Dr. J. Keith Motley and Mrs. Angela Motley, the first African American Chancellor and First Lady of the University of Massachusetts Boston, serving from 2007 to 2017. And as we celebrate FNC’s 30th anniversary, it was a great privilege to present the Phyllis Menken Family Nurturing Award to our founder Sharon Shay Workman and her husband Wayne.
We’re especially grateful to our sponsors, board members, and to all the staff members, vendors, and volunteers whose dedication made the evening possible. Please enjoy the photo gallery below—capturing the joy, connection, and purpose that filled the room. Whether you were with us in person or in spirit, we’re so thankful for your support.
Here’s to another year of making a difference—together!
