Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts is excited to announce a meaningful, long-term partnership with collaborators who share our deep commitment to caregiving and community: Ama at the Atlas, the new Allston restaurant from Nyacko Pearl Perry and Biplaw Rai of Pearl & Law Hospitality Group.
More than 200 guests joined last week’s grand opening, where Perry and Rai announced our partnership and a shared goal of raising $50,000 to support Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts’ essential programs in 2026. We are deeply grateful for their leadership—and for the community already rallying behind this effort.
According to the founders, “Ama or आमा is the Nepali word for mother. Ama at The Atlas honors those who nurtured and fed us, reclaiming the skills and techniques passed down over generations.”
“Here at Ama at The Atlas, we are cultivating a culture where creativity and excellence are matched with respect for the people behind the work,” said co-founder Nyacko Pearl Perry at the opening.
As Emma Tobin, FNC’s Co-Executive Director for Advancement, shared: “We’re so excited to enter this new phase of partnership because the vision behind Ama at the Atlas—honoring, respecting, and supporting caregivers—is so closely aligned with our own.”
Pearl & Law Hospitality is also the home of Comfort Kitchen, named “Best New Restaurant” by Boston Magazine and The Boston Globe, one of the top 50 in the country by The New York Times, and nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation.
