This training is the ideal starting place for new parent educators as well as those with experience who are new to Dr. Stephen Bavolek’s Nurturing Parenting® Programs. We will use examples from and look closely at the Parents and Adolescents program which is designed to repair abusive parent-teen relationships (parents and their teens attend separate groups concurrently, and then join as one group each week). Specific topics include: learning to live with each other, learning to play together, to communicate respectfully, and to be a positive, nurturing family. The training also addresses Nurturing Parents and Adolescents Program implementation.
