Leadership by Design
The final session of the Leadership by Design training series convened on Friday, June 21. This 4-session series used the well-known Myers-Briggs Type Inventory as a launching point for discussion of how to recognize patterns in the self and in others and use that insight for effective leadership.
Family Restoration Day 2024
The 2024 Family Restoration Day took place on Saturday, June 22 in Dr. Loesch Family Park, Dorchester. Organized by Propa City Community Outreach in collaboration with Dorchester Cares Coalition of FNC, this annual event brings neighbors in Dorchester together for a day of family fun and connection to community resources and local organizations.
FNC Awarded Expanding Engagement Grant from City of Boston Age Strong Commission
Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts was honored to be among the recipients of an Expanding Engagement grant from the City of Boston’s Age Strong Commission. The grant will help fund programs of care and support for grandparents raising grandchildren among Boston’s Cape Verdean community.
Celebrating Graduates of the Cape Verdean Nurturing Program Graduation, June 11, 2024
On June 11, Family Nurturing Center of MA celebrated the graduates of the spring 2024 Nurturing Parenting Program for Cape Verdean families at 200 Bowdoin Street. This interlingual, intergenerational program celebrates family and cultural ties, bringing the whole family and community together for learning, play, singing, and celebration.
