Honoring Mothers
FNC held events honoring mothers, grandmothers, and all caregivers throughout May. On May 8, Dorchester Cares and PATCH held a Mother’s Day Celebration for moms in FNC programs, with a relaxing wellness session, gifts, and a laughter-filled raffle. On May 24 the Celebración del Día de la Madre brought Spanish-speaking moms together for celebration and recognition. And on May 31 Patch held a festive gathering to honor foster parents. These joyful events to connect and recharge are just one part of FNC’s work to alleviate the crisis of parental stress and build stronger families and communities.
