Amy Kershaw, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, visited FNC Dorchester on October 25 with members of her team for a listening session with leaders of the Boston Family Engagement Network. The conversation emphasized the role parent leaders play in developing creative, community-based solutions to supporting families. Commissioner Kershaw also met the ParentChild+ Home Visitors team, witnessed a bilingual Spanish/English playgroup in action, and heard about the Welcome Baby program while a training for facilitators took place. It was a day to celebrate our shared values of connection, collaboration, and deep investment in people and partnerships!
